“Breast cancer research is a cause that is very important to me, and many of our employees and their families,” said Bryony Chamberlain, Director of Operations for megabus. “We are excited to christen our newly branded pink megabus and hit the road to spread awareness encouraging Americans to support BCRF.”

Today breast cancer survivors and their loved ones joined megabus executives and BCRF leadership aboard the new custom pink BCRF branded megabus. The special trip to New York City includes attending a taping of The View.

"The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is thrilled to have the support of megabus, and we look forward to growing our partnership this year,” said Christina Rose, Chief Partnerships Officer, BCRF. “Through this program, megabus will help us to galvanize a large, engaged community to take action and drive home the importance of breast cancer research.”

About Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) is committed to being the end of breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research. Since its founding by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has funded investigators who have been deeply involved in every major breakthrough in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. This year, BCRF has committed nearly $54 million to support 240 scientists at leading medical institutions internationally, making it one of the world’s largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research. By investing 91 cents of every dollar directly in its mission, BCRF remains one of the nation’s most fiscally responsible nonprofits. It is the only breast cancer organization to hold an “A+” from CharityWatch and has been awarded Charity Navigator’s highest rating of four stars 13 times since 2002.
