Reserved Seats

What is my reservation number?

A combination of numbers and letters required for travel, the reservation number can be obtained from the confirmation page displayed after finalizing your purchase on megabus.com. A reservation number includes the date and time of travel.  A copy of your reservation information is also sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking.   Reservations are only valid on the trip(s) date, time, and destination as stated on the reservation.

This is an example of what a reservation looks like for a trip containing reserved seating.

Please note that everyone boarding a bus with reserved seating will have an R listed in their reservation number. This does not mean that a seat has been reserved for that trip. Your confirmation page and email will display your seat number. If you have any questions about your reserved seat number while at the stop, the field staff/bus driver will be able to assist you.
