If I purchased a general seating ticket can I upgrade it to a reserved seat?
At this time, reserved seats can only be purchased on megabus.com
You can trade in your general seat for a reserved seat (subject to availability) on-line and more than 6 hours prior to the departure time of the existing reservation. A $5.00 fee ($3 Trade In fee and $2.00 new reservation fee) is charged for all reservations being traded in. The cost of the initial reservation will be credited against the subsequent reservation. If the subsequent reservation is less expensive than the initial reservation, no payment or further credit will be made to you and all unused credit will be forfeited. If the initial amount paid is less than the cost of the subsequent reservation you must pay the difference when completing your new reservation.
