Find these on the confirmation you received for your original reservation. Your order number is 7 characters long and may contain letters and numbers (e.g.: AA4H2W7). Your reservation number is at least 29 characters long and will contain letters and numbers, separated by a series of dashes. (e.g.: 7-6163-042313-M3-1030-NYC-BOS).

What do I do if I lost an item on the bus?

If an item is lost on a bus, a Lost Item Inquiry must be reported to our Lost and Found Department.

Once you've submitted the necessary information on the lost item, it will be entered into our system for processing by our Lost and Found Department.

To ensure accuracy, the following information must be sent to lostandfound@coachusa.com:

• Name of Passenger

• Reservation # for the trip on which the loss occurred (reservation unknown, provide date and time of trip and departure and arrival cities)

• Current E-mail address

• E-mail address used for purchase

• Current Phone number

• Full detailed description of Item(s) to include brand name on luggage, color and contents, i.e. Black Samsonite brand luggage, with red sneakers and blue cosmetic bag inside.

• A brief summary of how the loss occurred

The Lost and Found Department responds to all loss inquiries. The time frame of response may take several days as an investigation to find the lost item must be completed. Megabus.com makes every attempt to return lost items to their rightful owners and will assist with retrieval to the best of our ability.
