Megabus.com adds downtown Dallas service

Grand Prairie remains among Texas destinations served with fares from $1

(Nov. 8, 2012) – Megabus.com, the first city-to-city express bus company with fares starting at $1, has announced a stop in Dallas at The East Transfer Center, 330 North Olive Street. Service starts November 19, and tickets can be booked at www.megabus.com today.

Megabus.com continues to serve the Dallas/Fort Worth metro from a stop at 710 Davis Street in Grand Prairie, too.

Customers who have already made reservations from our current stop at Grand Prairie can choose to board at the new downtown stop with their current reservation numbers.

“Our customers have been requesting a downtown Dallas stop since megabus.com launched service across Texas in June,” said Mike Alvich, vice president of marketing and public relations for megabus.com. “Megabus.com is pleased to add another convenient Texas location as families throughout North America make arrangements to be together this holiday season.”

The megabus.com Dallas stop is one block from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Pearl/Arts District Station Red, Blue, Green and Orange rail lines. DART's downtown East and West Transfer Centers provide convenient locations to transfer between bus routes and to and from rail stations.

“Megabus.com will bring more visitors into the heart of downtown Dallas,” said Phillip Jones, President and CEO, Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Megabus.com’s $1 fares make vacation and business travel more convenient and affordable for the holiday season and beyond.”
