megabus.com, the first express bus service to offer fares as low as $1 to and from 28 cities, has rolled out a new web site to simplify the booking process for customers, allowing them to easily plan their $1 tickets.  The changes took place on Jan. 24.   

New features include:

• Interactive network map which allows customers to select their departure and destination city and book tickets or view bus stop locations directly from the map.

• Multi Map technology allowing customers to zoom in and out of the bus stop and can also be switched to aerial and birds eye views using real photography.

• Pop up schedule details from the “search and buy” results page shows customers the exact duration and stops (if any) during their trip.

• Ability to do a quick "previous" or "next" day search from the “search and buy” results so customers can guarantee they are getting the best fare.

• Ability to sort results by time or price – whichever is most important to the customer.

Note: Changes have also been made to the media page, making it easier for news media to access releases, photos, video and more.
