Megabus.com Expands Boston Service


Express bus service now available between Boston and three Northeast cities; free seats available

NEW YORK (July 12, 2011) – Boston residents and local students can now travel to Burlington, Vt.; New Haven, Conn.; and Hartford, Conn., for as low as $1. Megabus.com, a city-to-city, express bus company, today announced the expansion of its Boston service and will begin daily service to and from these cities on August 17. Customers can book tickets starting today.

From its Boston stop location at gate 12 in South Station, megabus.com will offer two daily departures to Burlington, and four daily departures to New Haven and Hartford.

Customers are encouraged to book early to secure $1 fares. Fares always start as low as $1 and get higher as the traveling date gets closer.

DATTCO Coach & Tour Group will operate the megabus.com Burlington, New Haven and Hartford routes under a partnership arrangement.

To celebrate this service expansion, megabus.com is offering 1,000 free seats on the Boston-Burlington route for travel Aug. 17 through Nov. 15.Customers will need to use the promo code BURL1K when booking their tickets via www.megabus.com (subject to availability on select dates, routes).

Megabus.com is also offering 1,000 free seats on the Boston-New Haven-Hartford route for travel Aug. 17 through Sept. 17. Customers will need to use the promo code HART1K when booking their tickets via www.megabus.com (subject to availability on select dates, routes).
