(October 30, 2014) – As of today, megabus.com, the first city-to-city, express bus company with fares from $1, has served 40 million customers across North America since the company began in 2006. The company served five million customers in the last six months alone, helping to make city-to-city bus travel the fastest growing and most economical transportation mode.

In celebration of the milestone, megabus.com awarded a customer with an iPad Air during a celebration event this week at megabus.com’s new arrival/departure location at 902 N. Semoran Blvd. in Orlando.

Megabus.com – serving 32 states in over 120 cities across North America – has increased sales by 13.5 percent in the last year.  

In recent months, the company has:
•  Initiated a Reserved Seating program in 40 cities across North America, allowing customers the option of reserving one of 10 “premium” seats for a small fee.
•  Added service to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Miami, Tallahassee and Tampa, Florida.
