Megabus.com To Donate $1 To Wounded Warrior Project For Every Customer Purchasing a Ticket On Veteran's Day

 
 

•    One of North America’s largest express bus companies to make donation for third straight year

(November 11, 2015) – For the third consecutive year, megabus.com – the popular city-to-city, express bus company – will donate $1 to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) for every customer who purchases a ticket this Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11.

Wounded Warrior Project® began 11 years ago with the purpose to raise awareness and provide aid for the needs of injured servicemen and women.

Megabus.com’s donations over the past two years have helped to fund programs such as Project Odyssey® a program that uses the healing power of nature, along with support from mental health professionals and staff, to help wounded service members gain perspective on life through outdoor activities and retreats.

The donation also helped purchase WWP backpacks for injured servicemen and women, which are filled with essential care and comfort items such as clothing, toiletries, playing cards, and more - all designed to make a hospital stay more comfortable. Wounded service members receive backpacks as they arrive at military trauma units across the United States.
