Express bus service now available to three new cities including New York; fares from $1(Feb. 02, 2012) – Burlington residents can now travel to Amherst, Mass.; New York City and Saratoga, N.Y., from $1. Megabus.com, a city-to-city, express bus company, today announced two new routes: New York – Saratoga – Burlington and New York – Hartford – Amherst – Burlington. Daily service on these routes begins April 2. Customers can begin booking tickets today. Megabus.com will offer daily departures from its arrival and departure location at the bus shelter adjacent to the University of Vermont's Royal Tyler Theater, 116 University Pl. Customers are encouraged to book early to secure $1 fares. Fares always start as low as $1 and get higher as the travel date gets closer."The overwhelming popularity of megabus.com inspired us to expand our service reach again,” said Dale Moser, president and COO of megabus.com.
